Why support Saint Brigid School?
We value a tradition of socioeconomic diversity that serves all of San Francisco:
We have one of the lowest Catholic school tuition rates in San Francisco, and we work hard to maintain a robust tuition assistance program so that our cost is attainable for any family interested in attending Saint Brigid. Our school attracts a large international presence, making our community a true representation of San Francisco, rather than just a small homogenous sampling of the population. Families of all cultures and religions are treated with dignity and feel comfortable within our walls.
Every dollar you donate goes directly to the academic and extra-curricular programs we need to offer to maintain our rich educational experience or to close the gap between the rising cost of this Catholic education, and our tuition.
We care about the whole child:
We believe that we are more than academic educators – we are developing and nurturing the next generation of San Francisco’s leaders and community builders. To this end, we value a rigorous academic standard, but find it equally important to create a learning atmosphere where every child feels seen, known, and loved, and where empathy and kindness are essential and life-long character traits of our graduates.
We have been a pillar of Catholic education and philanthropic spirit in the community for over 130 years:
In supporting Saint Brigid School, you are joining a long-standing tradition of service and education. Saint Brigid was established in 1888 with a strong religious and spiritual foundation. The Sisters of the Immaculate Conception bless Saint Brigid School with their dedication to educating children, as do countless dedicated teachers and staff. We are a warm and welcome presence in the city, and with your help, we can continue making a positive impact on our city.
We recognize that you have a choice with your philanthropic dollars, and on behalf of the students and families that feel blessed to call Saint Brigid School their safe and welcoming home, we thank you for your generosity that will help keep the doors of this unique institution open to the surrounding community.
